Verifications/Log Books

The Verification Process is a set of formal and systematic assessments conducted to determine Assistant Leader, Leader, or Assessor competencies.

All who undergo the Verification Process must adhere to all relevant AMPs and HR requirements/current industry good practice.

At MERC, there are four different verification processes – Delivery Verifications, Skills Verifications, Assessor Verifications, and Endorsement Verifications.

Endorsement

The Endorsement Verification is a formal and systematic assessment conducted to determine Leader/Assistant Leader competency with nationally recognised qualifications or equivalent experience.

The Endorsement Verification can be used in place of a Skills Verification, if and where the competencies for the qualification or experience overlap.

Log Book Template

MERC Leaders are encouraged to keep a log book of all activities in which they lead, assist, or participate, whether at or outside the workplace. At a minimum, these log books should include the date in which the activity took place, the activity, and the approximate duration of the activity.
